Palm Reading - Heart Line
The heart line is quite literally the heart line. It corresponds to
our emotions and to all our relationships. Other lines which surround
it, are connected to it as well. The heart line goes from the base of
the fore-finger, the mound of Jupiter circles around the base of the
fingers to end at the base of the mound of Mercury. In some people,
the heart line will start right in the plain of Mars, others it starts
on the mound of Saturn. For most anywhere in between the fore-finger
and the middle finger.
The heart line can be deep, which means a person feels deeply, in
others it can be feathered, which means a person can be flighty and
flirtatious. For most though, the heart line is a combination of both.
In some cases the heart line is chained. When this happens and the
palm reader notices that this occurs, the reader is notified of
circumstances beyond the querrents control. Some times when the chain
effect is accompanied by feathering, the querrent has had some heart
ache leading to disappointment. Check for divorces or for a recent
relationship before venturing further.
There are many factors to take in before venturing to look at the
heart line. I generally look around the base of the fingers to tell me
what kind of person or the kinds of relationships the person I’m
reading for has. This can have a bearing and will in most cases
influence the reading of the heart line.
For instance, if a person has feathering on their heart line, but has
a marriage line, their partner may be a flirtatious individual causing
heart ache, or a possible affair on the side. If the heart line has
diverged and forked up towards the forefinger and down towards the
plane of Mars, then there is emotional upset or if the fork veers
towards the plane of Mars but goes directly towards the base of
Jupiter, then there is high susceptibility, idealism or emotional
stunting. A palm reader will need to be sure before making a comment,
and check the surrounding lines to see if the person they are reading
for is in fact either an idealist or emotionally stunted.
I have seen emotional stunting in a lot of people and will say
something to the effect of ‘perhaps you are feeling as if you are not
going forward in an emotional way, or the way you would like to go.
The next thing I look for is the chain effect. This emotional trauma.
Islands of isolation meaning the person may have been left out in the
cold, check the family ring or the marriage line. Grills and dark
spots on the heart line can indicate a traumatic event in their lives,
but this is also true for all these to appear on all the lines on the
palm. If there is a star on the heart line, a fateful meeting with
either the opposite sex or with someone who will influence their lives
in such a way as to be beneficial, like a mentor or a soul mate.
Triangles and squares are deemed as protection and they will appear at
certain times or in places on the heart line to indicate someone will
protect the person.
A deeply grooved heart line can indicate a person who feels very
deeply. If the deep grooved heart line is dark in colour and has dark
spots on, there may be depression or a tendency for mental illness,
check to see the head line and what this indicates, if the two
correspond or the head line dips towards the mound of the moon, then
there may be a strong indication for clinical depression or mental
illness. However, only in a few cases has this been proved, but there
may also be the indication of an artistic nature of the person being
deeply involved with their art. A dark heart line and a normal head
line, either going across the palm or veering down towards the mound
of the moon is indicative of obsession, or addiction.
No body is perfect and we all have our flaws. The heart line merely
reveals our emotional selves far more than the mound of the moon does.
Sometimes the heart line is attached to the headline is some way
either by broken lines or by a solid line, even at times becoming one
with each other. There is nothing wrong with this, it just means the
heart and head are balanced out. With some people it is more so than
in others. Some people let their heart rule their lives, this is the
emotive side of an individuals nature, other times, it is the head
that rules, and can have practical applications in our everyday lives.
For people who’s heart line goes to the base of the mound of Saturn
and not in between the mounds of Saturn or Jupiter or directly under
Jupiter, they are far more practical in every day life. They don’t let
their emotions run away with them and can take quite a bit of coaxing
to come out of their shells. Saturn is about hard work just as much as
it is about pessimism, but in this case, people who work really hard,
long hours or are work-a-holics tend to have a heart line starting
under the finger or at the base of Saturn.
People who’s heart line starts under the base of Jupiter, tend to have
a more optimistic nature and tend to work with that optimism and
create opportunities for themselves. A heart line that does not go to
any of the base of the fingers by veers completely off towards the
edge of the hand, and this is rare, can be seen to be either extremely
friendly or hostile but are easily led and influenced by others.
What ever the heart line says about an individual, it is only a small
part in the sum of all our parts. We can not look at any single one
line and develop a reading from that alone. Although there are many
psychics who would hold the hands and merely do a reading from either
the chakra that is in the palm or from the aura surrounding the
person. However a psychic does the interpretation, it is so
individual, that no one psychic can have the same technique.
